READING IT EXPERT PAUL SLINGER JAILED FOR CHILD PORN IMAGES IN OPERATION ORE CASE

In June 2003, a serious criminal case unfolded involving Paul Slinger, a 44-year-old IT programme trainer from Reading, Berkshire. Slinger was brought before the Old Bailey to face charges related to the possession of child abuse images. The investigation, part of the broader police operation known as Operation Ore, targeted individuals involved in the online distribution and possession of child pornography.

During the court proceedings, Slinger pleaded guilty to 11 charges of making indecent pictures of children. The charges stemmed from the discovery of approximately 200 pornographic images depicting minors, which Slinger had downloaded onto his personal devices.
