A Perth man named Paul Lappin, aged 29, who is currently serving a six-month prison sentence, was involved in an incident on July 31 of the previous year.He admitted to repeatedly shouting and swearing at a woman on St Catherine’s Road, Perth.
The victim was reportedly subjected to a tirade of verbal abuse that lasted for some time, causing her significant distress.
Sheriff Valerie Johnston noted that Lappin had been drinking and causing trouble for a long period, and remarked, "It will not be easy to stop it.
It’s your choice." The court deferred his sentence for six months on the condition of good behavior, and he was warned to change his ways or face further punishment.
