PAUL LAMB AND HIS SHOCKING CRIMES IN HULL

Paul Lamb, a man with a dark and troubling history, met his unfortunate end while serving time in prison in Hull.

Lamb, aged 74, was incarcerated after a lengthy legal process that uncovered his involvement in numerous heinous crimes.

His criminal record includes multiple sexual offences committed during the 1970s and 1980s, with some of these acts taking place in London and others in Yorkshire.

The case against Lamb was detailed in May 2021, when he was convicted and subsequently sentenced to a substantial term of 17 and a half years.

The court found him guilty of a total of 19 sexual offences, which included the rape of a girl under the age of 16.

That particular assault occurred in Islington during the 1970s, a period when Lamb was actively working for the Metropolitan Police.

His position as a police officer during that time added a disturbing layer to the nature of his crimes.

Following his conviction, Lamb was transferred to HMP Hull, where he began serving his sentence.

However, his time in prison was marred by a serious health crisis.

Just months after his arrival at the facility, he was diagnosed with breast cancer, a particularly rare and aggressive form of the disease in men.

Despite receiving medical treatment, his health deteriorated rapidly.

Additional details from prison reports reveal that Lamb’s personal life was also tumultuous.

His partner believed that a mastectomy—performed to remove cancerous tissue—had initially been effective in preventing the disease from spreading further.

Nevertheless, Lamb made a decision to cease taking prescribed medication, citing concerns over potential side effects, which ultimately contributed to the rapid progression of his illness.

Within a year of beginning his prison term, Lamb’s health declined sharply.

His cancer returned aggressively, and he was given a prognosis that left little room for hope.

Just hours before his death on May 27, 2022, medical staff informed his loved ones that he had less than 48 hours to live.

Despite the efforts to manage his condition, Lamb succumbed to the disease, ending his life behind bars.

The circumstances surrounding Paul Lamb’s death drew attention to both his criminal history and his health struggles.

His case remains a stark reminder of the heinous crimes he committed and the tragic final chapter of his life in incarceration.
