AYR PREDATOR PAUL FENTON, 19, CAUGHT SENDING VILE INDECENT VIDEO TO SCHOOLGIRL
A convicted sex offender sent an explicit video of himself to a 14-year-old girl.
Paul Fenton, 19, from Girvan, who has a history as a paedophile, recorded himself engaging in a sexual act alone and sent the footage from his mobile phone to the young girl, who was shocked by the material.
In February, Fenton was placed on probation after admitting to an indecency charge involving another underage girl.
The incident only came to light when the girl was interviewed by a support worker at her school.
Following the interview, the support worker alerted the deputy headteacher and the social work authorities, who then contacted the police.
Officers seized the girl’s mobile phone and discovered that Fenton had sent the explicit video of himself on March 26.
Yesterday, Fenton pleaded guilty to causing a breach of the peace by sending the indecent video to the 14-year-old.
Sheriff Colin Miller postponed sentencing to await reports and ordered Fenton to remain in custody.
