MAN JAILED FOR SEXUALLY ABUSING AND MISTREATING TWO GIRLS
A 56-year-old man has been sentenced to prison for abusing and sexually assaulting two young girls.Paul Annal, a resident of Ewing Street, Cowdenbeath, was found guilty following a trial at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
Upon sentencing, he received a sentence of ten months imprisonment.
Sheriff Mark Allan convicted him on five separate charges.
From January 1, 2008, to July 10, 2017, Annal deliberately mistreated a girl who was at least six years old at the time.
His actions included yelling, using vulgar language, displaying aggressive behavior, hitting her on the head, following her closely, kicking her, and pushing her against a wall on numerous occasions.
Between August 22, 2006, and August 22, 2019, he similarly mistreated a second girl, who was at least three years old, in a comparable manner.
In the period from January 1, 2019, to December 31, 2024, he sexually assaulted one of the girls when she was eleven or older.
He also repeatedly sexually assaulted the other girl between March 2020 and August 2021.
In addition, sometime between January 1 and December 31, 2023, he damaged a car window with a hammer, causing shards of glass to strike one of the females on the head.
