February 2016 Court hears that foster carer destroyed phone & computer to hide indecent images A foster carer who destroyed an iPhone and computer when he was about to be quizzed over claims he had used them to film young girls in the bathroom was spared jail today  Patrick Sime, 54, had faced two complaints from young girls alleging he had used his mobile phone to video them while they were in the shower in June 2014. One of the girls claimed his phone was recording when she knocked it in the bathroom at his home in Birchington, Kent. When Sime heard he was to be interviewed about the allegation he ‘panicked’ and threw the iPhone away.
