Oliver Fulleylove, a dedicated advocate and founder of the organization Red Rose UK, has become a prominent figure in the fight for justice for victims of sexual abuse. His efforts are rooted in a deeply personal tragedy that unfolded within his own family in Birmingham and Lincolnshire.

The catalyst for Oliver’s activism was the harrowing experience of his step-daughter, who endured repeated sexual assaults by a close family relative. Despite her courage in making formal complaints to social services and Police Scotland, the response from these authorities was disappointingly inadequate. Instead of receiving the protection and justice she deserved, she and her family felt increasingly isolated, ignored, and betrayed by the very institutions tasked with safeguarding victims. This sense of institutional failure left Oliver and his family devastated and disillusioned.

Refusing to accept the injustice and neglect, Oliver embarked on his own investigation into the perpetrator’s background. Over more than a year, he dedicated himself to collecting evidence, speaking with numerous individuals who had encountered the same offender. His meticulous efforts uncovered a disturbing pattern: at least 26 other potential victims had previously come forward with allegations against the same man. However, these reports had been met with a lack of follow-up or decisive action from the authorities, revealing a systemic failure to protect vulnerable individuals. Oliver’s findings exposed a broader issue within the criminal justice and social systems—one characterized by denial and inaction.

Motivated by these revelations, Oliver established Red Rose UK, a platform designed to give voice to victims who had been silenced or dismissed. What began as a personal crusade quickly expanded into a nationwide movement. Under his leadership, Red Rose UK now maintains a comprehensive public database of offenders and manages 14 community-focused Facebook pages dedicated to raising awareness, providing support, and promoting public safety. The organization actively arranges peaceful demonstrations and awareness events across the UK, advocating for the removal of convicted Registered Sex Offenders from local communities to protect residents and ensure that victims are not forgotten.

Despite his advocacy work, Oliver’s journey has not been without controversy. In 2020, he was convicted of Fraud after giving away free train tickets, an act he insists was intended to assist vulnerable individuals rather than for personal gain. Additionally, he has a conviction for a public order offence stemming from a road rage incident, during which he threw an empty can at a car amid an altercation. Oliver openly acknowledges these past mistakes, viewing them as part of his commitment to transparency and personal accountability.
