NICOLA FOX, WOMAN FROM HULL, JAILDED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT OF 13-YEAR-OLD BOY
In September 2017, Nicola Fox, 33, was sentenced for luring a 13-year-old boy into her home and forcing him to engage in sexual activities.Fox trapped the boy, who was a virgin, by pinning him down as he cried.
She initially enticed him with a false promise of a casual "chat".
When he attempted to leave, Fox closed the curtains and pulled him onto her bed in what also served as her living room.
She again prompted him to stay, then sexually assaulted him, after slamming the door and placing a table against it, Hull Crown Court heard.
Prosecutor Claire Holmes recounted: "She pinned him down to the bed using her weight.
She was touching his chest and removed her trousers and lower clothing." Holmes added, "Fox held the boy's hands above his head and forced him to have sex.
The boy was clear that he did not want her to do this.
He was telling her to stop and to get off.
He was crying at one point, and her response was to tell him to stop crying in an annoyed and aggressive tone.
The boy felt annoyed, upset, and embarrassed." The incident, which occurred earlier that summer, lasted approximately five to ten minutes.
Afterward, the boy went home, took a shower, and did not immediately report what happened.
Despite her threats that she would claim he consented if he told anyone, Fox sent him messages through social media implying the same.
During the court hearing, it was noted that out of respect for her gender, the boy treated Fox with "dignity" during the assault.
Miss Holmes explained, "He said although he tried to fight her off, he was conscious that she was a female and didn’t want to cause her harm." Fox, who was present in the courtroom, was observed shaking her head in response to the court proceedings.
The boy, who cannot be named publicly for legal reasons, expressed gratitude for his family's support but admitted he had not confided in all relatives.
He reported feeling a loss of confidence and social withdrawal.
He further shared that he fears future relationships due to the trauma and feels anger because she has taken his first experiences, stating, "This defendant has taken all of my first experiences away from me, which is something I won’t get back." Fox, of Boulevard in west Hull, refused to answer questions during police interviews but later admitted to sexual activity with a minor.
The judge sentenced Fox to four years in prison, emphasizing, "You proceeded to force yourself on him by way of sexual intercourse.
He was crying, and you told him to stop crying in an annoyed and aggressive tone.
Even while this was happening, he still treated you with dignity because he didn’t want to use force upon you, because, in his words, you were a woman and he didn’t want to cause you harm.
You took advantage of him in that way, and it’s clear you took his virginity." In addition to her prison term, Fox is required to register as a sex offender and will be subject to an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.
