NEIL KINSPELLA'S HORRIFIC CRIMES IN DUBLIN: SCHOOLGIRLS TERRIFIED BY KNIFE-WIELDING SEX ATTACKER

In October 2000, a man named Neil Kinsella was sentenced to a decade behind bars for heinous crimes committed in Dublin, specifically in the Clondalkin area. The court heard that Kinsella, aged 25 and residing on Oakwood Grove in Clondalkin, had committed two severe sexual assaults involving minors, which had left the community deeply shaken.

According to court records, Kinsella was found guilty of raping a 10-year-old girl in January of that year and sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in March. Mr. Justice Carney emphasized the severity of the crimes, noting that the community had been terrorized by a man wielding a knife and stalking young girls. Recognizing Kinsella’s guilty plea at an early stage, which spared the court a lengthy trial, the judge decided to suspend the final 15 months of his sentence, effectively reducing his time behind bars.
