NO CONTACT FROM UK ABOUT MURDER SUSPECT, SAY ZIMBABWE POLICE
Authorities in Zimbabwe have stated they have not received any formal notification from UK officials regarding Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, the suspect in a triple homicide case. The 45-year-old is wanted in connection with the deaths of his wife, Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, aged 42, and their two daughters, Natalie, 15, and five-year-old Nala, all of whom were discovered dead at their residence near Bedford on Monday.
Tshuma, a Zimbabwean citizen also known as Mark, departed from the UK through Heathrow Airport on Saturday using a British passport.
While Zimbabwean police have observed social media posts related to the case, they have not received any official communication from Interpol or UK law enforcement agencies.
Bedfordshire Police are collaborating closely with the National Crime Agency and have called on Tshuma to surrender if he is in Zimbabwe.
Border authorities in Zimbabwe are on high alert, although they have not been issued an Interpol red notice; they remain prepared to arrest him if he is located.
A family statement has been issued, thanking supporters and indicating they are awaiting official investigative updates.
Authorities are actively searching for Tshuma, who recently left the UK, and have made a public appeal for him to turn himself in.
