MAN CHARGED WITH KIDNAP, RAPE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT IN WANTAGE AND GROVE
Update 22/06/2026: Najeebullah Arab, from Grove, Oxfordshire was sentenced to 17 years imprisonment during a hearing at Oxford Crown Court on Friday.
He admitted one count of rape, one count of kidnap and two counts of sexual assault at a hearing at the same court in March.
The 40-year-old also later pleaded guilty a further offence of engaging in sexual communication with a child - for which he was charged in 2024.
Alongside his jail time, Arab was also handed a 20-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and an indefinite restraining order from his victims.

Thames Valley Police said a woman was kidnapped and raped near Mably Way in Wantage, Oxfordshire, on 27 January.
Another woman was sexually assaulted on Cane Lane in Grove, on 21 January.
Najeebullah Arab, 39, of Grove, has been charged with one count of kidnap, one count of rape and one count of sexual assault.
He was remanded in police custody and is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Police said Arab was also arrested on suspicion of the sexual assault of a woman on Oxford Lane in Grove on 24 January, for which he remains under investigation but has not been charged.
