July 2017 Man jailed for grooming nine-year-old boy to perform sex act on him in middle of street A paedophile has been jailed after he was caught sexually abusing a nine-year-old boy in the street. Mohammed Shabir, 49, of Ilford, was handed 10 months behind bars at Snaresbrook Crown Court yesterday He was arrested on March 25 after police officers spotted him with the child when they were looking at CCTV from another case in Ilford. Looking closer they saw Shabir forcing the boy to perform a sex act on him near a parked car. Detectives actively searched and located the young child victim in this case who bravely recounted what had happened to him. He and his family are being supported by professionals.” He admitted inciting a child to engage in sexual activity on June 29. The judge told Shabir that he must also register as a sex offender
