MOHAMMED LODHI FROM ISLEWORTH SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF TEENAGE GIRLS

In a case that has shocked the Isleworth community, Mohammed Lodhi, a 47-year-old resident of Walpole Road, was sentenced to a decade behind bars for a series of heinous sexual offenses involving two young women. The court proceedings, held at Isleworth Crown Court, revealed the disturbing details of Lodhi’s actions, which included the repeated rape of a 15-year-old girl and the sexual molestation of another woman aged 19.

Despite his conviction on multiple charges, Lodhi continues to deny any wrongdoing. The jury found him guilty of one count of raping a girl of 15, three counts of indecently assaulting the same girl from the age of 12, and two counts of indecently assaulting the other woman. The judge, Jonathan Lowen, emphasized the severity of Lodhi’s crimes during the sentencing, which included an order for him to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

He further criticized Lodhi’s denial of guilt, stating, “You denied your guilt and she had to give evidence. You gave explanations to the jury and you were disbelieved.” The judge highlighted the gravity of the rape, stating, “When she was 15 years old, you raped her. Expert medical opinion confirmed signs of frequent penetration.” He also pointed out the potential long-term consequences for the young woman, emphasizing that as a young Muslim woman, the impact on her future marriage prospects could be profound. The court was told that Lodhi’s actions showed a complete disregard for the victims’ well-being, focusing solely on his own gratification.

Usha Gupta, representing the defense, described the case as “a tragedy, not just for the complainants whose lives have been completely changed.” She claimed that the allegations made by the girls were fabricated, but the jury’s verdict clearly indicated otherwise.
