January 2018 Cumbria child sex offender jailed for 14 years A man who committed child sex offences in both Cumbria and Lancashire has been jailed for 14 years. 39-year-old Mohammed Kahlil Aziz, of Goldfinch Street, Preston, was sentenced at Carlisle Crown Court today (26 January). Aziz was jailed for attempted rape and two counts of sexual assault committed against a child in Cumbria between 2010 and 2012, and for attempted rape and a sexual assault committed against a child in Lancashire in 2007. He must now abide by an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
