POOLE MAN CAUGHT SENDING SEXUAL MESSAGES TO 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL
Michael Slade, aged 69 and residing on Kestrel Close in Poole, was involved in an incident where he attempted to engage in sexual communication with a 14-year-old girl.
He was caught after communicating with a decoy account operated by a paedophile hunter group.
According to court reports, he told the girl there couldn’t be “any naughty chat” before sending her a range of sexual messages and an indecent image.
Slade also gave the teenager sexual instructions and suggested she delete the conversation.
Despite knowing she was only 14, he continued the contact, asking if she had boyfriends or had kissed anyone, requested a picture of her in pyjamas, and sent a picture of his genitals, then suggested she perform a sexual act herself.
He admitted to these actions, showing remorse, but still pleaded guilty to attempting to engage in sexual communication and incite sexual activity.
The court sentenced him to a two-year community order with rehabilitation requirements, placed him on the Sexual Offenders’ Register for five years, and imposed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for five years, alongside a fine of £250.
