MICHAEL RYAN FROM BOGNOR REGIS CAUGHT WITH CHILD INDECENT IMAGES IN LITTLEHAMPTON

In February 2019, Michael Ryan, a 47-year-old resident of Monteray Gardens in Bognor Regis, faced serious allegations related to the possession of indecent images of children.

The case revealed that Ryan had been involved in the creation and possession of such material over a span of several years, specifically between January 1, 2014, and January 4, 2018, in the town of Littlehampton.

According to court records, Ryan admitted to making an indecent photograph of a child, classified as a category B image, during the period mentioned.

In addition, he acknowledged possessing 17 indecent images of children, categorized as category C, also created or stored in Littlehampton within the same timeframe.

These images are considered highly disturbing and are classified under strict legal categories that denote their severity and nature.

Following his admission, the court imposed a community order on Ryan, which included a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement aimed at addressing his behavior and preventing future offenses.

Furthermore, Ryan was subject to a sexual harm prevention order that will remain in effect for five years, restricting his access to certain online content and activities to protect the public from potential harm.

In addition to the community order and the prevention order, Ryan was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85, along with £85 in court costs.

These financial penalties are part of the court’s efforts to hold offenders accountable and support victims of such crimes.
