MICHAEL MCCARTHY OF LEIGHTON BUZZARD JAILED FOR SEX CRIMES IN DAGENHAM AND HEMEL HEMPSTEAD

In a significant case that has shocked the local community, Michael McCarthy, a 58-year-old resident of Osprey Drive in Leighton Buzzard, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term following his conviction on multiple serious charges related to sexual offenses against young children.

McCarthy was found guilty of two counts of indecent assault on a child under the age of 13, as well as two counts of sexual assault on a child under 13. Additionally, he faced four counts of historic indecent assault, all involving victims under the age of 13.
