In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Bristol, a pensioner named Michael Mayhead was convicted of sexually abusing a young girl, a victim who had already endured previous molestation by another individual.The incident, which took place in the Southmead area, was brought to light during a court hearing at Bristol Crown Court, revealing the disturbing details of the abuse.
According to court records, Mayhead, aged 70 and residing on Staveley Crescent in Southmead, admitted to engaging in inappropriate sexual activities with the girl.
The court heard that he had provided her with a sex toy, an act that added a deeply troubling layer to the case.
Following this, Mayhead was accused of kissing the girl on her lips and chest, actions that constitute serious sexual misconduct involving a minor.
Prosecutor Kenneth Bell outlined the extent of the abuse, stating that Mayhead had touched the girl improperly approximately 15 times during their interactions.
