However he was found guilty by jury at his trial of all the charges he had faced The incidents took place over a two year period, when the girl was aged between eight and ten and involved molesting and sexual assaults The court heard that Mavrides had befriended the parents of the girls, to get close to the child of which he eventually groomed for sexual activity The pre-sentence report said Mavrides posed a medium risk of harm to young girls in the future The court was told that Mavrides is active in the second hand motor trade.  He can be very charming and is highly manipulative The judge said: “The right sentence it seems to me, is one that achieves four years imprisonment and that is the sentence I pass.
