KENT MAN JAILED FOR LIFE FOR CHILD SEXUAL OFFENCES
A "predatory and dangerous" child rapist has been sentenced to life imprisonment.
Michael Link, aged 72, from Tonbridge in Kent, was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court after being found guilty of 19 offences, which include multiple rapes, indecent assaults, voyeurism, and sexual activity with a child.
He is required to serve a minimum of 15 years before he can apply for parole.
He will also be on an indefinite licence and remain on the sex offenders' register permanently.
Link, who was arrested in 2019 and had denied the allegations, was described by authorities as a "predatory and dangerous child sex offender." Det Con Tania Muller stated, "His abuse was depraved and sickening and will have had a devastating and lasting impact on the lives of all those he targeted.
He will almost certainly spend the rest of his life in prison."
