MICHAEL HARPER FROM BANGOR ARRESTED BY ONLINE PAEDOPHILE HUNTERS AT RAILWAY STATION

A group dedicated to catching online sex offenders apprehended a man at a railway station after he attempted to meet a fabricated 14-year-old girl.

They then provided evidence to law enforcement authorities.

Michael Harper, aged 34 from Bangor, was sentenced to two years in prison after admitting to attempting to meet and groom a minor via the internet.

In addition to his prison sentence, Harper has been placed on the sex offenders’ register for ten years and issued a sexual offences prevention order.
