MATTHEW ISLES CHARGED WITH MULTIPLE SEXUAL OFFENCES IN STAFFORD

In a disturbing development, Matthew Isles, a man residing in the Stafford area, has been formally charged with a series of serious sexual offences. The charges come after his arrest on March 10, 2025, and involve multiple allegations related to inappropriate conduct and possession of illegal material.

Isles, aged 53, was taken into custody by Staffordshire Police and subsequently faced a range of accusations that paint a troubling picture of his alleged activities. Among the charges are attempted sexual communication with a minor, specifically attempting to incite a girl aged between 13 and 15 to engage in sexual activity, as well as voyeurism. Further charges include possession of a paedophile manual, which indicates the possession of material intended to facilitate or promote illegal sexual activities involving minors. Additionally, Isles faces multiple counts of distributing indecent photographs of children, with three charges related to the dissemination of such images, and three counts of creating indecent photographs of minors. In a related incident, a hospital surgeon has also been charged with attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child. This individual, identified as Matthew Isles, worked as an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) consultant at both the Royal Stoke University Hospital and the County Hospital in Stafford. The 52-year-old medical professional was charged on a Tuesday following an investigation conducted by Staffordshire Police. He appeared at Stafford Magistrates' Court and is currently on conditional bail. A further court appearance at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court has been scheduled for a later date.
