LEEDS PAEDOPHILE SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS FOR RAPING TODDLER AND HOARDING CHILD ABUSE IMAGES

A Leeds paedophile named Matthew Bradshaw has been sentenced after he was convicted of raping a toddler and possessing horrific images related to the abuse. Bradshaw's victim, who was just two years old at the time, was upset and cried after being attacked by him. The court revealed that Bradshaw had previously been convicted of the sexual assault of the same girl, and as part of his sentence in 2021, he was subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and was required to sign the Sex Offenders' Register. Despite this, police found when they seized devices from his home—including a computer tower, a server, and a Samsung mobile—that he had kept indecent images of children and hoarded 31 extreme pornographic images involving animals. The investigation uncovered not only continued abuse against the previous victim but also two additional victims. The police informed the victims' parents, who had to identify their children in the images. One parent expressed anger and betrayal, revealing that they were unaware of Bradshaw's sex offender status and felt sick knowing he had taken pictures of their children without clothes. The court also learned that Bradshaw himself had raped his initial victim beginning when she was two years old. The judge described Bradshaw as having a high likelihood of reoffending, especially since he admitted to being sexually attracted to children and continued his criminal behavior even after initial convictions. The judge sentenced him to 20 years in prison with an extended license period of five years for multiple counts of rape, making and distributing indecent images, possession of prohibited images, and assault. Detention authorities and the police emphasized that Bradshaw was a dangerous offender, and the sentence aims to protect children and prevent future crimes. The court's pre-sentence report indicated that Bradshaw has a high risk of further contact sex offenses, and he was found guilty of multiple serious charges based on forensic evidence and behavioral assessment.
