WESTON MAN MARTIN WEBB SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENSES IN BRISTOL

In a serious case that has shocked the community of Weston, a local man named Martin Webb has been sentenced to prison after admitting to engaging in sexual activities with a minor. Webb, aged 43 and residing on Barry Close in Weston, was found guilty of multiple charges related to his inappropriate conduct with a 15-year-old girl.

The incidents occurred over a span of several months, specifically between August and November of the previous year. During this period, Webb engaged in consensual sexual acts with the underage girl on eight separate occasions. The details of these encounters were brought to light during the investigation, leading to his arrest and subsequent court proceedings.

Webb appeared before Bristol Crown Court on a Thursday, where he pleaded guilty to a total of eleven charges. His admissions included eight counts of engaging in penetrative sex with a child aged 15, which is a serious criminal offense. Specifically, seven images were found on his mobile phone, while 18 were located on his laptop.

Furthermore, Webb has been placed on the sexual offences register, a measure designed to monitor and restrict his activities following his release. Additionally, he was required to surrender his mobile phone and laptop to the authorities, ensuring ongoing oversight of his digital footprint.
