PAEDOPHILE JAILED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF GIRLS UNDER 13
In a case that has shocked the Reading community, Martin Evans, aged 46, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term of 21 years after being found guilty of multiple serious sexual offenses involving young girls under the age of 13.
The conviction came after a rigorous two-week trial held at Reading Crown Court, where Evans faced a total of eight charges related to his heinous actions.
Evans, residing on Arthur Place in Reading, was convicted on five counts, including two counts of rape of a child under 13, two counts of causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, and two counts of sexual assault against a minor.
Despite the conviction on these charges, he was acquitted of three other counts of rape involving the same age group.
