September 2015 Judge says pervert ‘may face jail’ for distributing child abuse images A man who admitted distributing child abuse images has been warned warned he may face jail. Mark Machin,38, of Ancaster Avenue, Chapel St Leonards, pleaded guilty to a charge of distributing an indecent movie file on June 2 2013 when he appeared before Lincoln Crown Court today (Tuesday). Machin also admitted six charges of making an indecent moving image of a child, possession of 46 indecent photographs of children and possession of extreme pornography. Judge Michael Heath adjourned the case for the preparation of a probation report and ordered Machin to register as a sex offender. The Judge granted bail to Machin but warned him: “You must understand that the fact that you are granted bail today does not mean you won’t go to prison. “When you come to be sentenced the likelihood is that there will be a prison sentence in this case.”
