MARK ALLEN AKA GLEN JONES CAUGHT IN DERBY IN DISTURBING ONLINE PREDATION SCHEME

On Thursday, December 29, 2022, Mark Allen, also known as Glen Jones, a 53-year-old resident of Derby, was apprehended by the Phoenix Guardians acting on behalf of the Sexual Liaison Cell (SLC). The incident unfolded after Allen engaged in an online conversation with an individual he believed to be a 13-year-old girl.

During their interaction, Allen claimed to be employed in pest control, attempting to establish a false sense of credibility. He repeatedly asked the young girl for indecent images, making inappropriate comments by telling her she was "hot" and suggesting she could become a model, thereby attempting to manipulate her into sending explicit material.

Furthermore, Allen crossed a serious line by sending explicit images of himself, including photographs of masturbation over images he believed belonged to the girl. In these images, he described himself as being "naughty," indicating a disturbing level of predatory behavior.
