LUTTERWORTH PERVERT MALCOLM JACKSON SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE AND DRUG DISTRIBUTION

In a disturbing series of criminal acts committed in and around Lutterworth, Malcolm Jackson, a 26-year-old man from Lutterworth Road, Walcote, has been convicted of multiple serious offenses involving sexual abuse, drug distribution, and possession of indecent images of children. The court proceedings revealed a pattern of predatory behavior that spanned several years, beginning when Jackson was just 17 years old.

Jackson's crimes include the heinous sexual assault of a one-and-a-half-year-old girl, an act that involved not only physical contact but also the recording of an indecent video of her in the bath. This particular offense was part of a broader pattern of sexual misconduct, which also involved him sexually touching the young girl. The court was informed that Jackson had accessed hundreds of child pornography images, including 456 in the most severe category A, along with 256 in category B and 625 in another B category, highlighting the extent of his illegal material.

Further allegations detailed Jackson's involvement with minors, including a 15-year-old girl with whom he engaged in sexual activity between 2008 and 2009, when he was 17. He also admitted to encouraging a 14-year-old girl to send him sexual images and to having a sexual relationship with another 15-year-old girl. Jackson's disturbing behavior extended to attempting to involve a 14-year-old girl in a threesome, which she rejected, as reported during the court proceedings.

Beyond his sexual offenses, Jackson was found guilty of supplying illegal drugs. He distributed cocaine, including giving away £1,000 worth during a three-day party, and regularly supplied cannabis to a group of children aged between 12 and 17. He used his employment at a local hotel, where he worked night shifts, to facilitate drug use among minors, often meeting them in nearby parks and in areas with camera blind-spots to avoid detection. Jackson also supplied drugs to about ten boys and girls, further demonstrating his grooming and exploitation of vulnerable youths.

Prosecutor Alan Murphy described Jackson as having no regard for the law, emphasizing his access to and distribution of illegal material and substances. Jackson's actions included persuading minors to send him explicit images and attempting to involve them in sexual activities, which he openly discussed with police during interviews, stating he had no respect for legal boundaries.

Judge Nicholas Dean QC addressed Jackson directly via a live video link from prison, condemning his actions and highlighting the significant risk he posed to young people, especially girls. The judge pointed out that the supply of drugs was part of a grooming process linked to his sexual offenses. Jackson was sentenced to an extended term of 10 years in prison, with a minimum of two-thirds to be served before parole eligibility. Additionally, he faces a four-year license period upon release.

Despite having no prior convictions, Jackson's criminal behavior spanned from when he was 17 until he was 24, revealing a prolonged period of offending that caused considerable harm to multiple victims and the community of Lutterworth and surrounding areas.
