LUKE FROST FROM LEOMINSTER SENTENCED IN BUCKS FOR SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP WITH 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL

In a case that has drawn significant attention, Luke Frost, a 22-year-old man from Leominster, was sentenced to two years and six months in prison at Aylesbury Crown Court on November 18, 2011. The conviction stems from his involvement in a sexual relationship with a girl who was only 15 years old at the time of the offenses. Frost, who was residing in Kingsland, Leominster, Herefordshire, was employed as a senior aircraftsman within the Royal Air Force (RAF) and also served as a supervisor with the RAF Cadet Force. His military duties placed him at RAF Naphill, located in High Wycombe, during the period when these criminal acts took place.

Prior to the sentencing, Frost had admitted to six counts of causing or inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity, along with one count of taking an indecent photograph of a child. These offenses occurred between October and November of 2010, a period during which the victim was just 15 years old. The case first came to light when the RAF authorities approached the police after a senior officer raised concerns about rumors suggesting Frost was involved in a relationship with an underage girl. Frost himself acknowledged the allegations, confirming their truth.

Subsequently, in December 2010, police investigators contacted the victim, who confirmed that she had been in a sexual relationship with Frost. She revealed that she had first met him when she was only 13 years old. The investigation intensified when, in January 2010, Frost was arrested in a coordinated operation conducted by Thames Valley Police in conjunction with the RAF Police. The investigation was led by Detective Constable Andy Alexander of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit based in Aylesbury.

During his initial police interview, Frost chose not to comment on his relationship with the victim. However, the evidence collected during the investigation painted a clear picture of manipulation and coercion. Frost had allegedly told the girl that he wanted a long-term relationship, despite her expressing concerns about the nature of their interactions. The victim demonstrated awareness that their conduct was inappropriate and repeatedly reminded Frost that what they were doing was wrong. Her bravery and support throughout the investigation were acknowledged by authorities, and it was noted that she was spared the trauma of giving evidence in court.

Detective Constable Alexander expressed satisfaction with the outcome, emphasizing the close cooperation between Thames Valley Police and the RAF Police in bringing the case to a successful conclusion. The case highlights the importance of vigilance and cooperation in protecting minors from exploitation and ensuring that justice is served for victims of such serious offenses.
