LONCEY MELTON FROM LINCOLN SENTENCED FOR HISTORIC SEX OFFENCES IN LINCOLN

In a case that has spanned several decades, Loncey Melton, a resident of Lincoln, has been found guilty of multiple historic sexual offences. The crimes, which took place during the 1960s and 1970s, involved two young girls and were committed outside of his professional duties at local schools.

The court proceedings revealed that Melton’s actions had remained undisclosed for many years, with the victims only coming forward after a significant delay. Melton was convicted on 18 charges, which included gross indecency and indecent assault.
