    In April 2021, a disturbing case emerged involving Liam Ridgeway, a 27-year-old man from Bootle, who was apprehended in connection with online sexual misconduct. The incident unfolded at the Aldi supermarket where Ridgeway was employed, highlighting the alarming ease with which such offenders can operate within familiar environments.

    Ridgeway was caught engaging in a highly inappropriate and sexualized conversation with an individual he believed to be a 13-year-old girl named Becca. Unbeknownst to him, the person he was communicating with was actually an undercover police officer monitoring online activities. The conversation, which began on October 8, 2019, took place on the chat platform Chatiw, where Ridgeway used the provocative username
