WAKEFIELD PAEDOPHILE LEWIS TUPPER SENTENCED FOR HORRIFIC ABUSE AND DANGEROUS DRIVING

In a chilling case that has shocked the community of Wakefield, Lewis Tupper, a 25-year-old scaffolder from Lupset, was sentenced to a decade behind bars for heinous crimes involving the abuse of a young girl and dangerous driving. The court heard how Tupper engaged in the most disturbing form of child exploitation, filming himself raping a girl under the age of 13 and then sharing the footage online, where it was met with sickening comments from other paedophiles.

Prosecutor Soheil Khan revealed that the National Crime Agency (NCA) became aware of Tupper’s activities in October of the previous year. The authorities traced his online activity on the messaging platform Kik, where he had invited others to join a chat group dedicated to sharing and discussing child abuse material. It was within this chat that Tupper uploaded the vile videos, including one depicting him performing a sexual act on the young girl. The participants in the chat demonstrated a clear and disturbing interest in abusing children, and Tupper actively engaged in conversations with them.

When police finally arrested Tupper, he admitted his guilt, stating, “I hold my hands up, I did it, I know it’s wrong.” Investigators also recovered clothing matching what he had worn in the videos he uploaded. Initially, Tupper claimed he had no sexual interest in children and suggested he was being blackmailed, but the judge dismissed this defense due to lack of evidence. During a second interview in November, Tupper confessed to the abuse and his online discussions about it.

At the time of his arrest, Tupper was held on remand at HMP Leeds. His criminal record was minimal, with only a previous conviction for theft-related offenses involving going equipped. However, his recent actions led to multiple serious charges, including one count of raping a child under 13, two counts of making indecent images, and two counts of distributing such images.

Judge Simon Batiste did not hold back in condemning Tupper’s actions, describing them as “the most sickening abuse imaginable.” He labeled Tupper a “determined and committed paedophile,” and made it clear that the defendant’s claims of being blackmailed were unfounded and unsupported by evidence. The judge emphasized that Tupper’s actions appeared to be carried out willingly and with apparent pleasure, reveling in the discussion and sharing of the abuse.

As a result, Tupper was sentenced to 10 years in prison, with an additional five years on license upon release. The court also addressed his dangerous driving incident from March of the previous year, when police attempted to stop his Volkswagen Golf on Denby Dale Road in Wakefield. Instead of stopping, Tupper sped off, leading police on a chase that ended with him crashing head-on into a BMW at the roundabout at Ings Road. Despite fleeing the scene, he was quickly apprehended. For these driving offenses, Tupper received a ban from driving for nearly ten years, specifically nine years and eight months.
