LESLEY POWELL FROM HARLOW AND DORKING JAILED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT ON CHILD

In a significant case that has drawn considerable attention, Lesley Powell, a 57-year-old woman from Harlow in Essex, has been sentenced to prison following her conviction for multiple counts of sexual assault involving a young girl under the age of 13. Powell, who previously worked as a teacher at Box Hill School located in Dorking, was found guilty of abusing her position of trust to commit these heinous acts.

Her sentencing took place at Guildford Crown Court, where she pleaded guilty to ten separate charges of sexual assault on a minor.
