LEONARD WHEATCROFT AND SHOCKING SEX OFFENCES IN HEREFORD
Leonard Wheatcroft, aged 80 and residing on Belmont Road in Hereford, has been sentenced to a decade behind bars following a conviction for historical sexual offences.The sentencing took place on Wednesday, 15 June 2022, at Worcester Crown Court, after Wheatcroft was found guilty in a trial that examined his past misconduct.
This case was marked by its complexity and the considerable efforts undertaken by law enforcement to bring Wheatcroft to justice.
Detective Constable Leah Lowe emphasized the challenges faced during this prolonged investigation, which spanned several years and involved meticulous and intensive efforts to gather evidence and build a case against Wheatcroft.
