MAN EXPOSED GENITALS AND STARTED THRUSTING DURING COURT CASE
GASPS of horror were heard in court as a defendant exposed his genitals shouting 'suck on this' and began thrusting.Lee Taylor, of Randwick Drive, Worcester, pulled down his trousers and underwear during a hearing.
The 35-year-old was appearing before the court via a live video link from custody when the incident occurred.
At a different court, a prosecutor said Taylor's actions had left staff and members of the public shocked.
He said there were a number of staff in court at the time.
"A bail application on behalf of the defendant was being heard and was refused," he said.
"As the announcement was made, the defendant was upset but unfortunately over-reacted somewhat.
He said 'suck on this', pulled down his trousers and underwear making a number of pelvic thrusts causing the genitals to sway before the camera for around five seconds.
He said one person in court let out a gasp while others had their heads in their hands with what they were forced to witness.
One person reported they were left "shocked and dumbfounded" and another said they had found Taylor's actions "disgusting".
The prosecutor said the defendant was heard shouting and saying something like "**** off".
He said: "A police officer said the staff in court were visibly distressed." Taylor pleaded guilty to a single charge of exposure when he appeared before a different court.
He also pleaded guilty to breaching a community behaviour order, theft, assault of an emergency worker, assault of a police officer, sending an obscene/indecent message and criminal damage.
Taylor was remanded in custody and will be sentenced on November 7.
The court where the exposure occurred cannot be named for legal reasons.
