November 2015 Pervert snared by internet paedophile hunters ‘Chris Fear’ A man from Luton who thought he was meeting a 12-year-old girl for sex, but had really been ensnared by internet paedophile hunters ‘Chris Fear’ has been jailed for 28-months. Obese pervert Lee Hardy, 41 of Luton, believed he was meeting a 12 year old girl for sex following on-line grooming was instead met by a couple who catch online predators. When ‘Chris Fear’ confronted Hardy in Luton town centre, he originally tried to lie about the contact, but after he was presented with the evidence from the team, he then decided to hand himself in to the police. After a police investigation, indecent images of children were found on his computer at his home. The images he had downloaded showed the worst type of child abuse involving youngsters being sexually abused by adults.
