LANCE ELGAR'S HORRIFIC CRUELTY IN BRIXHAM: ANIMAL ABUSER'S SHOCKING PAST REVEALED

Lance Elgar, also known as Lance Giles, born on March 21, 1995, and residing on Ranscombe Road in Brixham with the postcode TQ5 9UW, has been convicted of a heinous act of animal cruelty that has shocked the local community and garnered widespread condemnation. The incident, which took place in Northamptonshire, involved the brutal killing of a cat belonging to the owners of a farm where Elgar was residing at the time.

According to court reports, Elgar was living on a farm operated by the religious group known as the Jesus Army, located in Nether Heyford, Northamptonshire. It was here that he committed the savage assault on the defenseless feline. The court heard that Elgar, then aged 19, subjected the cat to a vicious attack, kicking her three times with steel toe-capped boots. The assault left the animal paralyzed from the injuries inflicted during the attack.

Following the initial violence, Elgar reportedly picked up the injured cat and callously threw her onto a fire. The cat, suffering from broken bones, internal bleeding, fractures, and a severed spinal cord, endured extreme pain and suffering before succumbing to her injuries. The court described her death as a tragic culmination of cruelty and neglect.

District Judge Tim Daber expressed his outrage at the incident, describing it as 'completely incredible' that someone would vent their anger on a helpless animal. He emphasized that no argument, intoxication, or scratches could justify such behavior, labeling it as an act of 'incredible cruelty.' Despite the severity of the crime, the judge acknowledged Elgar's remorse, his age, and his previous record of positive community contributions, which influenced his decision.

Elgar was sentenced to a 12-week prison term, suspended for two years, and ordered to pay a total of £2,433 in fines and costs. Additionally, he received a ban on owning animals for ten years, a restriction that will remain in effect until February 2025.

Following his conviction, Elgar left the headquarters of the Jesus Army in Northamptonshire. Although the group initially supported him and reportedly paid some of his legal expenses, they eventually expelled him after multiple witnesses came forward with disturbing accounts of his cruelty towards other animals on the farm. One witness claimed to have seen Elgar using pliers to pull out and sever the tongues of live chickens, further highlighting the extent of his violent tendencies.

Since his conviction, Elgar has been somewhat of a drifter, living in various locations including Portsmouth, Rugby, and Chichester. He has also served time in prison for an unspecified crime but appears to have now settled in Brixham, Devon.

Elgar is currently in a relationship with Holli Peplow, a single mother also known as Holli Sherratt, née Mascilo. We attempted to contact Ms. Peplow to warn her about her boyfriend’s past, especially considering she has three young children. Despite our efforts to inform her, she did not express gratitude for the warning. Authorities have confirmed that social services will be notified regarding the situation, given the potential risk to her children.
