KYLE MILLER SHOCKS INVERNESS AND ABERDEEN WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT INCIDENT

Kyle Miller, a man with connections to both Aberdeen and Inverness, has been officially placed on the sex offenders register following his guilty plea to a serious sexual assault that occurred at an address in Inverness.

According to court records, Miller was involved in an incident where he inappropriately touched a woman’s thighs and bottom. The assault took place during a social gathering at the woman’s residence in Inverness, where alcohol was consumed. Witnesses reported that Miller had been drinking beers during the gathering, which seemed to influence his behavior.

After the group decided to end the visit and asked Miller to leave, he allegedly reacted aggressively. Court documents state that he grabbed the woman by the wrist and attempted to physically pull her out of the living room, an act that further underscored the severity of his conduct.

On October 6, 2023, Miller, aged 25, appeared before Inverness Sheriff Court to admit to a single charge of sexual assault related to this incident. The court was informed that Miller and the victim had initially met in the city centre of Inverness earlier that day, around 3 pm, before returning to her home.

The prosecution, led by Fiscal depute Sophie Marshall, detailed that there were several other individuals present at the residence during the incident. It was during this time that Miller took a box of beer from a bag and began drinking it. Witnesses observed a noticeable change in Miller’s behavior after he started consuming alcohol, which appeared to escalate the situation.

The court proceedings highlighted the disturbing nature of the assault, and Miller’s guilty plea has resulted in his registration as a sex offender, a measure that will have lasting implications for his future.
