LEICESTERSHIRE POLICE OFFICER CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED RAPE
A police officer from Leicestershire has been formally charged with attempted rape.
Kristopher Ford, aged 35, faces charges of eight additional sexual offences, including six counts of sexual assault, and has been suspended from duty.
The allegations refer to incidents occurring between March 1, 2024, and April 30, 2024.
Mr.
Ford, a resident of Leicestershire, is scheduled to appear before Northamptonshire Magistrates' Court this coming Monday.
He has also been charged with causing a person to engage in non-penetrative sexual activity, as well as sending a photograph or video of genitals for sexual gratification, while being reckless about whether the recipient consented.
