WOMAN JAILED FOR STALKING EX-PARTNER AND MAKING FALSE ACCUSATIONS
A woman named Kirsty White, aged 28, was sentenced to 43 weeks in jail after admitting to stalking her former partner between April and June 2025.The court heard that following a one-night stand in December 2024, she falsely accused him of being a rapist, paedophile, and woman beater.
The prosecution revealed that on April 11, she had demanded money from him, failed to repay it, and subsequently posted personal details on Facebook accusing him of domestic violence.
On April 18, she went to his home, shouting and calling him those false allegations, while warning him not to contact police and sending messages through bank transfers expressing her love.
The man was overwhelmed by her stalking behavior and fled his home with his parents, suffering from severe anxiety and panic attacks, feeling constantly watched and threatened.
He mentioned that Kirsty had been staying nearby and messaging his family and friends, which made him wary and stressed, affecting his sleep and mental health.
On the day of her sentencing, she was convicted of stalking and received a 43-week jail term.
She was also ordered to pay £400 in compensation and was banned from contacting the victim for five years through a restraining order.
Her lawyer described her as a vulnerable young woman with mental health issues.
