KIERAN THOMAS AND SHOCKING SEX OFFENDER CASE IN LIVERPOOL AND NORTHWICH
A man from Merseyside, identified as Kieran Thomas, has been sentenced to prison after admitting to involvement in inappropriate and illegal communications involving a minor.The court found him guilty of engaging in two separate instances of sexual communications with a young girl in Northwich, Cheshire, which is separate from his residence in Liverpool.
Kieran Mark Thomas, who resides on Blackhurst Road in Lydiate, was given a custodial term of 15 months.
These offenses occurred over a period starting from November 22, 2019, and continued until January 18 of the following year.
This timeline indicates that the misconduct spanned several months and involved ongoing inappropriate contact.
In addition to the charges related to his communications, Thomas also confessed to possessing an indecent image of the girl, who was under 16 years old.
The image was created or stored on March 1 last year, and for this offence, he received a concurrent sentence of three months.
The judge ordered that this sentence run alongside his primary custodial period, consolidating the penalties.
Kieran Thomas first appeared before Magistrates on August 26 of the previous year, initially entering no plea.
His case was later transferred to Chester Crown Court, where he was formally sentenced on Monday, January 25.
The court proceedings established the severity of his actions and the need for a substantial custodial punishment.
As part of his post-release obligations, Thomas will be required to register as a sex offender for the next ten years.
Furthermore, he will be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, which will restrict his activities and monitor his behavior for the same duration.
