KIAN ALLSEBROOK SENTENCED FOR RAPE IN NOTTINGHAMSHIRE
A man from Nottinghamshire has been sentenced to prison after being convicted of raping a fellow teenager.Kian Allsebrook, aged 20, was found guilty of the serious offence following a four-day trial held in April.
The incident in question took place on September 10, 2020, when Allsebrook was just 18 years old.
The victim, a young woman, was subjected to a sexual assault that has now led to his conviction.
On Tuesday, at Nottingham Crown Court, the judge handed down a sentence of two years and three months in prison to Allsebrook.
In addition to his incarceration, he was also subjected to a four-year restraining order, which prohibits him from approaching or contacting the victim.
Furthermore, he is required to register as a sex offender for the next ten years, a measure designed to monitor and manage his conduct moving forward.
Det Con Barry Haines expressed his thoughts on the case, stating, "It is absolutely incomprehensible that anyone would ever force themselves on someone without their consent, in the manner that he did." He also praised the victim for her bravery, saying, "I'd like to commend the victim for having the courage to share what happened to her with the police, so that we were able to help bring her some justice." This case highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement in Nottinghamshire to address and combat sexual offences, ensuring that perpetrators are held accountable and victims are supported through the justice process.
