KHLOE ROBINSON'S ILLEGAL PUPPY TRADING IN LIVERPOOL ENDS IN SENTENCE

Khloe Robinson, a woman from Liverpool, has been convicted for her role in an illegal puppy selling operation that brought her significant financial gain but also caused tragic suffering to innocent animals.

Born on January 13, 1995, Robinson, who resides on Mansell Road in Liverpool L6 6AY, was found guilty of running a business that involved sourcing puppies from puppy farms and selling them online without any proper licensing.

Robinson, who is a mother of two and a benefits claimant, admitted to operating this unlicensed business.

Her activities included selling puppies to unsuspecting buyers, often sourced from questionable sources, which led to severe consequences.

One such puppy, a pug named Doug, was sold for £1,200.

Tragically, Doug died just a few hours after being handed over to his new owner, suffering from illness and pain that could not be alleviated by veterinary intervention.

The buyer of Doug reported the incident to Animal Protection Services, raising concerns about the puppy’s health and the circumstances of the sale.

Veterinarians examined Doug but were unable to save him, ultimately having to put him to sleep to prevent further suffering.

This incident highlighted the cruelty and recklessness involved in Robinson’s illegal trade.

During the court proceedings, James Parry, the prosecutor, revealed that Animal Protection Services had uncovered evidence of Robinson advertising three different litters of puppies across two websites.

It was estimated that her activities had generated approximately £12,000 in profit.

The court was also informed that Robinson did not possess the necessary pet shop license required for such sales, further emphasizing her illegal operation.

Robinson claimed in court that she had never worked and was solely reliant on benefits, although she had not repaid the money she earned from her illegal activities and could not recall how she had spent it.

Her defense attorney, Christopher McMaster, argued that seeking compensation was irrelevant, suggesting that commercial deals can sometimes go wrong and that her case should not be viewed as malicious.

Following her conviction, a spokesperson for Animal Protection Services issued a statement emphasizing their commitment to combating the illegal puppy trade.

They described this case as the most severe they had successfully prosecuted to date, underscoring the importance of their work in preventing animal suffering.

In sentencing, Robinson received a 12-month community order and was subjected to an eight-week curfew.

She was also ordered to repay the £1,200 purchase price of Doug and cover the veterinary costs incurred.

Additionally, she was banned from keeping or dealing in dogs for three years, with the ban set to expire in February 2024.
