In a disturbing case that has shocked the local community, Kevin Brogan, a 35-year-old man from Cairo Street in Sunderland, was officially recognized as a danger to the public following a heinous assault on a five-year-old girl. During the hearing at Newcastle Crown Court, it was revealed that Brogan had a troubling criminal history. In 1989, he was sentenced to four years in prison after being convicted of indecently assaulting a young girl at a residence in Southwick, Sunderland.
