October 2021 Pervert downloads 2,906 indecent images – including young girl’s rape Pervert Kevin Bloor has been spared jail after downloading hundreds of indecent images of children. The 38-year-old was arrested after police seized his phone and computers at his home in October 2017. They were analysed and found to contain 379 category A images, 221 at category B, 1,237 at category C and 68 extreme pornographic images. And there were 31 moving images at category A, 30 at category B and 13 category C movies. Police went back to his home in June 2019 and recovered 197 indecent images at category A, 106 at category B and 692 at category C, which he downloaded while on bail. Now Bloor has been sentenced to a three-year community order at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court. Prosecutor Simon Hunka said police executed a search warrant at the defendant’s home on October 13, 2017 after ‘information suggested someone had access to indecent images of children’. The defendant was arrested and digital devices were seized and subjected to a forensic examination,” he said. “A mobile phone, two USB devices and a laptop were examined. All devices were found to contain category A, B and C indecent images of children and extreme pornography.” The images included a girl aged two to four being anally raped, and the vaginal rape of a five to seven-year-old and of a baby aged six months to 18 months. The extreme pornographic images involved a large dog engaging in a sexual act with a woman. Mr Hunka said police recovered a significant number of images. These included 379 category A images, the most serious, 221 at category B, 1,237 at category C and 68 extreme pornographic images. And there were 31 moving images at category A, 30 at category B and 13 category C movies. The police returned to the defendant’s home in June 2019. Mr Hunka told the court: “He was described as beginning to act suspiciously, as if trying to hide something. He was asked to hand over his phone and it was subjected to a forensic examination. They recovered 197 indecent images at category A, 106 at category B and 692 at category C.” He added: “Various types of rape of very young children were shown. The images were created between October 2015 and July 2017 and in 2018 and 2019 while on bail. “There was evidence of images deleted. There was a deliberate effort to obtain images of the youngest victims.” Bloor, of Ubberley Road, Bentilee, pleaded guilty to six charges of making indecent photographs of children and one charge of possessing an extreme pornographic image. As part of the community order, Bloor must complete a sex offenders’ work group programme, a rehabilitation activity requirement for 55 days and 120 hours’ unpaid work. Judge David Fletcher said: “The images you were viewing were not dolls or mannequins, but of real children. “It is essential you come to terms with your continued admitted use of alcohol and cannabis. The only way rehabilitation can be achieved is in the context of a very lengthy three-year community order.” Bloor was made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) for five years and he was placed on the sex offenders’ register for the same period. He was ordered to pay £500 costs.
