He is also alleged to have driven at a police officer before attempting to punch him.
The court proceedings took place at Dundee Sheriff Court, where Manders, who is 58 years old, denied all 10 charges.
His alleged actions include punching holes in walls, smashing glasses and crockery, and assaulting and threatening his wife multiple times throughout the day.
He also allegedly smashed a shed, kicked a fence, and threw household items onto the driveway before setting them on fire, all in the presence of his wife and others, thereby endangering their lives.
The court heard that Manders is accused of throwing household items at his wife, throttling her, and threatening to punch her while shouting and swearing.
Furthermore, he is accused of attacking a police officer, Constable George Wilkie, by reversing his vehicle towards him and repeatedly trying to punch him.
Manders is also a director of KS Manders International Transport Ltd.
