KENNETH LARKING AND PETER TOBIN'S SHOCKING CONNECTION IN EDINBURGH PRISON
In a disturbing development within the confines of Edinburgh’s Saughton jail, it has been revealed that serial killer Peter Tobin, currently serving a life sentence, has formed an unsettling relationship with a fellow inmate, Kenneth Larking, who is known to now go by the name Kendra. The two are said to spend extensive hours together inside Tobin’s cell, cultivating a bond that has raised concerns among prison staff and fellow inmates alike.
Sources close to the prison have disclosed that this unusual pairing began approximately five months ago, with the inmates reportedly forming a close and secretive connection.
An insider described their relationship as being “a match made in hell,” emphasizing that they prefer to isolate themselves from the rest of the prison population.
It is said that both Tobin and Larking avoid interactions with other inmates, choosing instead to remain in each other's company whenever possible.
According to reports, Larking, who is 43 years old, has adopted a highly feminized persona, calling himself Kendra.
He has reportedly embraced cross-dressing, frequently applying mascara, eyeliner, and lipstick.
His wardrobe includes stuffed bras, dresses, and long wigs of various colors and styles, which he wears openly within the prison environment.
The inmates and staff alike have observed this transformation, with many mocking or commenting on the unusual relationship, but it appears that both men are indifferent to the gossip and continue their companionship without concern.
Both Tobin and Larking are housed in the secure Hermiston hall, a section of the prison designated for sex offenders and individuals with violent histories.
Tobin, who is wheelchair-bound, is known to complain frequently about his health, often expressing fears of being assaulted by other inmates.
He is reported to be dependent on Larking, who assists him by pushing his wheelchair around the facility.
Tobin’s health complaints include frequent visits to the prison’s health center, where he is prescribed painkillers.
It is alleged that Tobin sells these medications to other inmates in exchange for favors, as he does not handle cash transactions.
Peter Tobin, 72, is serving multiple life sentences for the brutal murders of Vicky Hamilton, 15, Dinah McNicol, 18, and Angelika Kluk, 23.
His crimes span from 1991 to 2006, and he is subject to a whole life order, meaning he will never be released from prison.
Tobin’s criminal history is extensive, including a notorious attack on two 14-year-old girls in 1993 at his flat in Leigh Park, Havant.
During that incident, he held the girls at knifepoint, forced them to drink alcohol, and subjected them to sexual assault and stabbing.
The attack was so severe that he turned on the gas taps, leaving the girls for dead, though both survived.
Tobin subsequently went into hiding, joining a religious sect under a false name before being captured in Brighton.
He was convicted in 1994 and sentenced to fourteen years, but was released in 2004.
His subsequent crimes led to a life sentence with a minimum of 21 years for the murder of Angelika Kluk in Glasgow.
Further investigations uncovered skeletal remains of two other young women missing since 1991 at his former residence in Margate, Kent.
Tobin’s heinous crimes culminated in the kidnapping and murder of Vicky Hamilton, which resulted in his minimum sentence being increased to 30 years, and the murder of Dinah McNicol, for which he received a whole life order.
In response to inquiries about the situation, a spokesperson for the Scottish Prison Service stated, “We do not comment on individual prisoners,” maintaining the confidentiality of inmate affairs.
Despite the disturbing nature of Tobin’s relationships and history, he remains incarcerated at HM Prison Edinburgh, where he continues to serve his sentences, with no prospect of release.
