KENNETH HORSLEY STUNG BY PAEDOPHILE HUNTERS IN EAST DURHAM
Kenneth Horsley, from East Durham, was arrested on 30th June 2025 after being stung by a paedophile hunting group who passed their evidence to police.He appeared in court this morning charged with:
• Inciting a child to engage in sexual activity
• Two counts of breaching a Sexual Offences Protection Order (SOPO)
The sting operation led to immediate police involvement after a safeguarding package was handed in, containing material linked to Horsley’s alleged attempts to groom a child. Police acted swiftly, leading to his arrest and prosecution.
The court heard that Horsley was already under the restrictions of a SOPO, which he knowingly breached on two separate occasions.
He has now been remanded into custody and is due to appear again later this month for sentencing.
Authorities and campaigners are urging anyone with further information to contact Durham Police. Safeguarding procedures remain active as the investigation continues.
