May 2008 Man, 50, guilty of sexual abuse A man from Cornwall has been found guilty of 10 charges relating to the sexual abuse of three teenage boys. Keith Rounsevell, from Camels Farm near Veryan, had denied the charges. He was remanded in custody to await sentence. The jury at Truro Crown Court was told 50-year-old Rounsevell had preyed sexually on teenage boys over a period of two decades. Judge Christopher Elwen warned Rounsevell that he could face an indeterminate prison sentence. The jury deliberated for nearly six hours before convicting Rounsevell, a night worker at a Truro supermarket. The former bakery worker had pleaded not guilty to assaulting three boys, but admitted a further charge of indecent assault relating to a fourth victim while giving him driving lessons in a car park at Carne.
