KAZIU KEDZIOR'S REPEATED OFFENSES IN LEICESTER AND SUTTON IN ASHFIELD LEAD TO JAIL AND SEX OFFENDERS ORDER
In a case that highlights the ongoing threat posed by repeat sex offenders, Kaziu Kedzior, a 56-year-old man with connections to Leicester and Sutton in Ashfield, has once again found himself behind bars following a series of disturbing sexual offenses against minors.In March 2019, Kedzior was convicted in Leicester Crown Court of six counts of indecent assault committed against a male child under the age of 13.
The court proceedings revealed a troubling history, including a previous conviction from 1991, when he was sentenced to nine months in prison for repeated sexual assaults involving a six-year-old boy and a ten-year-old girl.
This history underscores a pattern of predatory behavior that has persisted over decades.
His latest arrest came after allegations surfaced in 2016, accusing him of abusing another young boy.
These allegations prompted a police investigation that ultimately led to his re-arrest and subsequent conviction.
The court sentenced Kedzior to a total of 21 years in prison, but due to the structure of the sentences—where two of the eight-year terms were ordered to run concurrently—he is expected to serve only eight years in total.
During the sentencing, the judge emphasized the severity of Kedzior’s offenses and the danger he poses to society.
It was made clear that upon his release, he would be subject to strict monitoring and restrictions.
Kedzior was ordered to remain on the sex offenders register indefinitely, a measure that ensures ongoing oversight of his activities.
Furthermore, the court imposed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), which explicitly prohibits him from having any unsupervised contact with children under the age of 16, regardless of gender.
This order aims to prevent any future harm and protect vulnerable minors from potential abuse by Kedzior, whose criminal history and recent convictions underscore the importance of such safeguards.
